As a record-holding Team Canada powerlifter and experienced coach, I’ve had the privilege of training and collaborating with world-ranked athletes and coaches. Now in my 60s, I find my greatest satisfaction in helping adults over 40 discover their true strength potential. My mission is simple: to prove that serious, intelligent strength training has no age limit, and that it’s never too late to get stronger, healthier, and more confident.

What to expect:
Your roadmap to a stronger you

Based on the discipline of adult learning, a six-step process that acts as your personal roadmap, guiding you to training independence and strength goals.

Discovery

We begin with an understanding of your training history, goals, and lifestyle. This information is used ensure strength training is the right fit, and if so, begin the process of tailoring your journey to meet your goals.

02.

Design

Early training sessions begin with movement, mobility and strength assessments in order to build workout templates. This “programming” is the blueprint for your training. This slower approach is also important in limiting expected delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS).

03.

Delivery

Progressing to this stage the real training begins. Technique issues, strength limitations and specific needs are identified. Required corrections are applied and incorporated into your training. This attention to detail drives technique perfection, fosters safe, effective training, measurable strength gains and long term health.

04.

Drive Learning

As skills develop a training ownership handoff begins. Using video analysis along with coach mentoring the lifter is taught to understand and apply required corrections. Programming choices and documentation is also handed off. Individual timelines differ with importance given to a lifters comfort in the added responsibility.

05.

Deploy Performance Support

At this stage with an understanding of your abilities, wants and needs the lifter becomes the performance driver. As a coach support and shadowing is the key role.

06.

Decision Making

Wants and needs at this point are exclusive to the individual. Whether its a commercial or home gym, training with family and friends, finding new like minded people or even competitive powerlifting. The options are there. Need more help? A hybrid model with less coaching hours or programming templates are available for ongoing support!
